Event Security

For standard events, we recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance to allow for proper planning, staffing, and advance work. For large-scale productions or events requiring significant coordination, 4–8 weeks allows VMG to deliver the most thorough security program. Urgent event security is available with shorter notice depending on staffing availability.

Officer count depends on attendance, venue layout, event type, and risk profile. VMG conducts a pre-event assessment to recommend the right staffing level — not simply the maximum number. A 50-person private dinner may require 2–4 officers; a 2,000-person outdoor event may require 30–60 officers with specific post assignments.

Yes. VMG can deploy armed officers (Florida Class G licensed) for events where the risk profile warrants an armed presence. This is assessed on an event-by-event basis. Many private events and corporate functions use unarmed uniformed officers and do not require armed personnel.

Yes. For large-scale events, VMG coordinates with Miami-Dade Police Department or the relevant municipal police department as required. We handle the liaison so event organizers do not need to manage law enforcement coordination directly.

VMG event security planning includes a pre-event site visit, risk assessment, post assignment planning, staffing recommendations, access control design, VIP movement protocols, emergency response procedures, and coordination with venue management. All plans are provided in writing before the event.
